I recently attended the Southern African Society of Human Genetics (SASHG) conference held in Sandton at the Maslow. We had a wonderful evening at the Turbine hall, which, to be honest, looks like a dump from the outside, but is a completely different world on the inside. This was a fantastic opportunity and even I, the most antisocial person on the block, managed to network with fellow Geneticists, in keeping with the theme of the conference: Genetworking.
